Hi,
This year, among other things, we also visited Liptov during the summer. Specifically, we hung out around Ružomberok. When you enter the city, you will be greeted by kilometer-long columns from both sides and you will smell the smell that comes from the local paper mills, but the nature around the city is beautiful.
My wife and her college classmates decided to get together over the summer. But not alone, but also with their families. And so the four of us set off on the road. We have accommodation in Hrabov. It is an area just outside Ružomberok. We have booked a large cabin that can accommodate all of us. We are here and the fun can begin.
On the first day, we checked in and just hung around the cottage. There were more children than adults and it is fortunate that the cottage had a private children's playground. On the second day, we went for a walk to the local reservoir.
Hrabovská dolina is an ideal place for relaxation and recreation. Children will enjoy themselves here, as well as adults. So, for example, Tarzania. It is a rope park located among the trees. There are several obstacles that must be overcome. After all, a little adrenaline and effort won't hurt. I didn't even know it was the largest rope park in Slovakia. However, I was most interested in the rope stretched from one side of the hill to the other. It goes over the water reservoir and going down it must be a really beautiful experience. I also wanted to try it, but I did not find the moral support to try it in my team.
In addition to this attraction, you can try aquazorbing, boating, fishing, and of course there are also bouncy castles, a trampoline and a children's playground, as it should be.
While walking through Hrabovská dolina, I was most interested in two things. The first of them are these wonderful works of carvers. Such wooden figures always lift my mood. And not just me. The children who were with us ran to every single wooden statue and wanted to take a picture with them. One must have great talent and talent to do something like this. And of course the author of these works has my admiration.
The second thing I liked was the broad-leaved bat growing next to the water tank. I photographed it straight from several sides. Pálka is a perennial herb that is common in Slovakia. It occurs in swampy soil, on the shores of lakes and ponds. It can be found on all continents except Antarctica. The inflorescence forms a terminal whorl. It blooms from June to September.
Enough walking. We are going to take a cable car ride. This cable car, from which we can admire the city of Ružomberok and its surroundings, takes us up into the hills.
We perform on Maliný Brdo. Nature is beautiful here, what do you say? There are several hiking trails that I would very much like to walk. However, I am here with small children, so I enjoy at least these views with a pint of Kofola.
In addition to tourism, Malinô Brdo is mainly known for its ski resort. However, we solve a family game together with the children, which you get when you buy a cable car ticket. It's called Mysteries of the Forest. It is about solving educational tasks and getting to know the nature of Veľká Fatra. You have to solve the tasks, find the clues that you add to the secret book, and if you succeed, all the children will get a reward.
We're going to deal with it and I'll get back to you with another post next time.
Thank you.
