I hope Blurt doesn't turn into a Steem/Hive.
I remember in 2017 there were endless flag wars, with characters like Bernie Sanders. A minority (with power), using similar arguments, abused their power on the platform. I hope history doesn't repeat itself, and no more forks be needed
Without downvotes, downvote wars can't happen. And from the people I've spoken to, Blurt will never have downvotes.
I don't understand how anybody can be against Blurt highlighting users who have plagiarised and continue to plagiarise content. Especially when in the Settings, they can choose to turn this feature off.
So long as this list isn't easy to get onto and impossible to get off of, I will struggle to understand how anybody can oppose this and how it's been implemented. But perhaps I'm unique in this respect having had my content plagiarised whereas some of those complaining don't even write anything.
I really don't get it so perhaps this isn't a debate I should have any involvement in 👋🏼
