With Every post, every comment every Action on Blurt there is a fee.
It will cost me 1 Blurt to make this post, plus many more blurt to edit etc etc etc..
What happens with these fees ?
They are burned.
So with every single post, every single comment, every single edit … Blurt is burning Blurt.
There is a Supply of 440 Million, but every single time anyone does anything on Blurt that amount is dropping.
And the rate at which it is dropping is accelerating every day.
As more people join Blurt, make posts, comments Edits … there are more fees, more Blurt burned … So what happens if we run out of Blurt ???
When there is no more Blurt in Circulation? Is this possible ? How rare and valuable will Blurt become ?
Will 1 Blurt = $100,000 … or much more. Maybe $1,000,000
At that point they will need to create the “Blurtoshi” so that there are Blurtoshis to pay the Blurt posting fees.
1 Blurt = 100 Million Blurtoshis

I've been thinking recently about the fees on Blurt. Look, I am interested in the following: Now, 1 BLURT is 2-3 cents. I pay 0,50-1,50 Blurt to post. It's ok. But what happens if Blurt hits 1, 2, or more fiat units. What happens then? It will be probably very expensive to post.
Yeah… better buy a few million Blurt while it’s still cheap.
I guess they will need to reduce the fees … Wen 1 Blurt = $ 1000 USD … the fee will need to drop by a few decimal places… like .000001 Blurt … or .001 Blurtoshi

Well, that's certainly an interesting question... but Blurt has "inflation" like most blockchains; the witnesses are mining new Blurt every day, and it becomes part of the rewards pool.
BUT... if the community grows large enough with enough activity, and the cost-to-post remains the same, I suppose we could eventually reach a point of the total supply shrinking.
Still, cool idea to think about!
I will ask one of the developers if they can post a ticker that shows how much Blurt is being burned in fees each day … I love the Cosmos ticker on Coinbase that shows me how much Cosmos ;(ATOM) I am earning every second…
