I think smart phones ruined society rly ad they got everyone totally addicted. How much better was life before smartphones when the internet was limited to home life. So few ppl even rly connect with their communities anymore and even when in social settings look on a phone. Thinking connection is in a small device in your pocket. The way ppl talk online is different. In real life ppl for the most part are friendly and smiley and open. Online it just seems to breed this angry aggressive defensive communication all the time and ppl don’t even seem to notice. Look on hive. I bet those ppl were not like that 5 years ago I bet they were decent nice people who had real life friends but it’s really changed them, maybe they can’t even see themselves and think they are being ‘righteous’ in their hatred.
Very true. But the angry iPhone social communications are seeping offline… people I meet on my walks with Lola will say the strangest things. So many conspiracy theories everywhere. Everyone has been brainwashed. Some people will tell me that I shouldn’t be outside since “somebody” , the Global Elite, and Government are spraying chemicals in the sky. Like come on. It’s pathetic. Every one is brainwashed to stay inside on their devices. It’s so sad.
Really? I find ppl in person are rly cool and friendly. I spent way too much time online over covid and thought everyone had turned into crazy aggressive people but it was reassuring that people in the real world were still normal for the most part. I think it depends on the ppl too I’ve been going to a few meetups lately with successful ppl and they are not like this at all they are giving, want to help others succeed and rly friendly and rational thinking. I think this online war is mostly online and most successful ppl are pretty logical and level headed and don’t waste time on such things they focus more on their own life, success and helping others actually. I got way too involved in debates over those years and if just leaks energy and feeds these ppl. It doesn’t rly achieve anything
No kidding. Debates and arguments are a complete waste of time. There is so much stuff to do outside. I spend most of the last 2 years kayaking, hiking, exploring the beautiful wilderness here in Canada.
for sure arguing with ppl over social media probably is the biggest waste of time on the planet, I think half the accounts are bots too as they don't even really make sense. I wasted enough time on it already.

I obviously agree with the global elite being a thing but I think we feed into it arguing rather than coming together and being nice to each other
Well I have these 2 crazy neighbours who only talk about the Collapse of Society and coming Appocalypse ... That is all they talk about. Meanwhile they are missing the Beautiful World all around them. So many people have gone completely insane.
