Well, of the two evils, I prefer yours. When I was creating the intro for YouTube, I had a general problem of how to approach it, but the nature of the logo meant that I knew that there would be sharper music, emotions and some "cool" theme.
Now, when I look at the new logo, I don't know how to create such a trailer :P the only thing that comes to my mind is:
I have no idea how to promote it XD
Live long and prosper would be better…. But I think it has a Trademark ?

yes but how visually present this mark. you know.. logo sels also an emotions and some style. Some logos selling coolness, other, prestige or innovativness...
hmm in our brand we should somehow connect this with people, and buisness and success. Also could be friendship, money etc.
But main motive? hmm maybe relax and enjoy
