How much Blurt gets burned per hour .. per day .. per month

in blurt •  3 years ago  (edited)

I am hoping that the Blurt.blog can publish a report to tell us how much Blurt is getting burned per hour, per day, per week, per month…

I guess if this cannot be done we could all do our own calculations based on the number of new posts per hour we see posted here on Blurt, and with some interpolation and extrapolation based on averages and maybe some Google Analytics.

For example… I just counted the # of posts over the last hour here on Blurt.blog

I get about 40 new posts/ hour.

So if it costs .5 Blurt per post plus additional Blurt for edits, comments and other activities we could guesstimate a very conservative value of at least 20 Blurt being burned per hour.

So over a 24 hour period we could extrapolate that approximately 500 Blurt are being burned per day….

So then we get 3,500 Blurt being burned per week. (500 * 7)

14,000 Blurt per month…. 168,000 per year.

Obviously this number will vary quite a bit and as more people join and post on Blurt I guess we could see as much as 100,000 Blurt being burned per month.

1.2 Million per year

At that rate maybe the Supply of Blurt will drop quickly and we could see a quick rise in the value of Blurt given it’s shrinking supply.

What do you think ?

Am I way off ? What is your estimate on the amount of Blurt being burned each hour.

I am hoping @ecosynthesizer or someone could provide more accurate number and forecasts ….

At the end it doesnt represent much , the % is very low but still nice 🙂
It will be around 0.2% per year or so when Blurt is full on

I have no idea how many Blurts are burned
