Yorker. Nuzzi's ex-husband has shown unabashed contempt for her present love. In an interview he gave to The New York Times, he said, “I don’t want to talk about it at all. It is embarrassing to think that Olivia was married to me.”

A year ago, Nuzzi was rumored to be going out with Ryan Lizza who snubbed her requests for an account of his personal life since he did not want to attract media attention. The pair had previously worked together at The Daily Beast where she described him as “smart, ambitious and hard-working” while they both were rising stars in their profession.

Their affair did not come as a surprise as most commentators thought that they had been having an affair long before they even got divorced from their respective partners. After they met again at a dinner hosted by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in 2018, it is said that Lizza proposed marriage to her (not that he had ever been married). They eventually parted ways when Nuzzi found out about Lizza’s ongoing relationships with other women during the early months of 2019.

The up-and-coming author recently gained popularity after sharing an article on how she once slept with a prominent politician during his marriage and the campaign he was running for President of the United States. In addition, Olivia Nuzzi received attention when she posted on social media a photo of herself completely nude, except for shoes and a hat. Even though it is not clear whether this post had anything to do with her husband’s untimely death three years later, it certainly drew people’s attention.

In a recent interview, she discussed how her hometown shaped her future as a political journalist. “It was not only a good place to grow up; it was also a good place to write about politics,” she explained. “Everything happened here - presidential campaigns, congressional races, elections and trials.”

Despite being only 25 years old, Olivia Nuzzi has achieved much more than many do in their entire lifetimes. She thinks that her achievements are an indication that she is destined for great things - perhaps unlimited wealth and power. One indication of her ambition is that last summer, she became one of the first journalists ever to report from inside a presidential campaign office of former congressman Eric Massa.
