The strike, which is on an unprecedented scale in the U.K., was widely reported in the Japanese media. The current administration also has an approval rating below 20%, making the government very unstable and reminiscent of the old Japanese government.

In Japan, too, the political situation was unstable, and since then we have been in a long recession that has lasted for 20 years. I think the recession has already started, though.

イギリスでも過去にない規模でのストライキが発生していると日本のメディアで大きく取り上げられていました。 現行の政権も支持率が20%を下回り、政権がとても安定しておらず、昔の日本の政権を彷彿とさせます。

日本でも政治が安定せず、それから20年にわたる長い不景気に突入したので、この様なニュースを見るとイギリス発信で不景気が世界中を包みそうで嫌な予感がする。もう、不景気は始まっているとは思いますが。。。
