Dear Blurtians,
How about a fun challenge that can also teach you a thing or two about Thailand? This idea came to me while reminiscing about the "TRAVEL PRO PRICE IS RIGHT GAME!" contest that I enjoyed on the sister chains.
The Concept
I'll present you with a product from one of the 7-Elevens on the island of Phuket, Thailand. This will allow you to learn a bit more about the habits of Thais and what they buy in their everyday lives.
The challenge is to guess its price in Thai Baht.
In each post, to assist you, I'll provide the exchange rate for the Thai Baht of the day in both US Dollars and Euros.
The Blurtian who comes closest to the actual price of the product wins. In the event that multiple people guess the same price and it's either correct or the closest, we will spin the wheel of luck to determine the winner.
How to Participate
To join in on this challenge, simply write a comment under this post with the price in Thai Baht that you believe is correct and upvote the post. Please refrain from editing your comment as it would void your participation.
The challenge will run for 1 day, and the winner will receive a reward of 10 BLURT before the next challenge is published.
Previous Edition
The right price of "EZY SWEET" Thai pudding with Sago Tubtim krob of the previous edition of the Blurt Challenge: Guess the Thai price at 7-Eleven was 27 THB.
Thank you to all the participants of the previous edition. I hope you enjoyed playing as much as I did creating it 😊
As we had multiple Blurtians who guessed the correct price, I spun the wheel of chance to determine the winner.
🎊 Congratulations @ranesta 🎉 You won the prize and received 10 BLURT
Today's Challenge
For today's challenge, I present to you the "Me-O" Creamy Treats Happy Anytime! With Me-O Creamy Treat Cat Treats.
Whether it's the salmon or tuna flavors, both of my cats are fans 😻 I usually give them these treats after their regular outdoor adventures to thank them for coming back safely 😹
The bond between Thai people and their cats reflects a cultural appreciation for these animals, blending superstition, compassion, and a sense of companionship. Cats are highly regarded in Thai culture, symbolizing good luck and protection from evil spirits. Stray cats are also common in Thailand, and some communities engage in collective efforts to care for and feed these animals.
Today's Thai Baht exchange rate:
- 1 THB = 0.028 US Dollars
- 1 THB = 0.026 Euro
