How about 30 % APR with Blurt Savings ? …. 📢

in blurt •  2 years ago  (edited)

We need something more innovative than the regular savings option.
...

When your Blurt Power reaches 100% then the saving mechanism is activated. Your Blurt Power will increase at the rate of ten full upvotes per 24 hours.
When you start voting on posts, the saving mechanism will be deactivated.

In this way, people who do not upvote but have BP will earn more than delegating to upvu and more than spamming and upvoting their own posts 10 times a day.

Edit.

Your Blurt Power will increase at the rate of ten full upvotes per 24 hours

actually, at the rate of 20 full upvotes per 24 hours

Great idea. Blurt needs something.

Hive has HBD … Steemit has @upvu … Blurt has @blurtbooster and @ctime I guess ??

Incentivize people to buy Blurt and stake it.

Yes, such a solution eliminates the need of use vote trading services. It encourages investors to keep their BP, even if they are not active on Blurt for various reasons.
(right now, people just powering down and go away)

I'm not a programmer, but it seems to me that it would be very easy to implement this solution, because we already have a mechanism in the blockchain for rebuilding Blurt Power, so it would be enough to add one more option: adding extra profit at 100% Voting Power

If there is no staking incentive then there is no reason to stay here. If you are an investor then you want to invest in places that offer the best Return on your Investment. If you are just a blogger then you blog for the Love of blogging, and you don’t do it for the money.

What makes bloggers different than any other writer? Everybody likes getting paid. While a blogger might blog no matter what, WHERE they blog can certainly be incentivized by payment.

I just always hear bloggers say they blog for the joy of blogging and that they do Not blog for the money. I am definitely not a blogger.
