During birding I saw many singing birds but It is difficult to judge between singing or routine call. Few year back when I was birding on Lakeview, Islamabad I heard birds calls. I saw a crested Lark singing near me. First time I heard a bird singing closely and he was not afraid of me. I first photographed this bird but bird kept singing so I decided to record a video. I captured my first singing bird video.
Although camera was hand held but still this video is a treat to watch. Lark used many different tones in his singing. Mainly all these beautiful songs were to attract female in breeding season. Hope this bird succeeded in his mission. The Singing bird in this video is the same bird I used in divider image. This crested lark picture is one of my best pictures.
