Thieves always piss me the fuck off. Someone who feels entitled to someone else' things because they don't want to work for them, themselves. Well I have found out from one of my dedicated readers from this post that someone has been steeling my content:
https://www.proofofbrain.blog/hive-174578/@depressedfuckup/plagiarist-impersonating-one-of-my
Turns out @depressedfuckup was a reader of my content on blurt and on this post he has identified @jibon07 has been steeling my content and posting it as his own. So far it looks like it is about 12 posts. Looks like about $70 in rewards. This is very annoying and potentially damages my brand as I struggle to grow my online blogging audience.
When I saw that I was mentioned in this post with that title I knew that it was going to be no good. But as it was it was sort of bitter sweet because I found out that some ass hole has been steeling my work and impersonating me and then on the other hand I found that a fan and friend has my back and I am one of the favorite bloggers of someone.
So I spammed the hell out of @jibono07 comments warning people not to vote for the content and to go to my blog for any questions and to see the original content. I also reported it to HIVE watchers, lol I know many of you will roll your eyes with me here. On further investigation it looks like there is a link to this account to @(on-hive)darkclown (not the same as the one on blurt), who has another introduction post of with another picture of another self proclaimed bangladesh. He then proceeds to post Nigerian focused content. I am sure it is the same MO and person.
So now what to do, I really could have used that $35 he has received in rewards from my work a week ago when I was scraping up ever cent of different coins on HIVE-Engine to get some money in my US bank account that is reading $0 to make a student loan payment.
Looks like the best option would be for me to watermark or logo my photos. This is something that I have not wanted to do because I choose my photos as I write and this will severely distract from my creative process. It will also detract from the photos. It is not 100% because the photos could always be cropped unless I severely molest them with my water mark. And then my words will still not be protected.
At least there are community members that are also watching for us. Lets continue to be each others brother keepers and make sure that scum like this do not get to profit from other peoples work.
I am posting a version of this on HIVE also and will give the proceeds to @depressedfuckup.
I have also found that he has stolen a post from one of our favorites here @elkezaksek.
Hey wait wait,
It's not me .
I don't know who's he!
Sorry dark clown on HIVE perhaps is different than you. Let me edit it so that it will not show up as you on here.
And thanks
Sorry again I have broken that link and made it clear on the post now, that is the user name on hive.
Sir Don't they have any creative brains that they make it themselves, they will post for it, they steal other people's posts, why use them, they are really not possible without people of low intelligence, thanks for your report. I want you to look at other posts like this and make nice posts so that we can learn something from your posts. Thank you for such a nice post where we learn that stealing is a great sin and punishment for stealing must be. thanks for @leifasaur
Hmm that's great idea.
Keep it up
Brother I think you are always boss in ... some moment
Ow really,
Thanks
It's okk but Be careful to post from now on.
Thieves can be so annoying and lazy at the same time. What's so hard about writing your own stuff? These people never learn and they can't build anything with that kinda attitude.
You know what? It's really sad they stole your content and even made some money out of your work. But, thankfully, it was noticed early enough and you made good effort to follow it up with action.
I hope he gets flagged by Hive Watchers. He has to be punished for theft and more.
Yeah annoying you can say that. Let see what happens to this one.

What an annoying situation here!
I'm trying to imagine what was going through his mind when he started copying someone's work without the fear of being caught.
Was he planning to continue stealing? Of course he was, maybe he would take off with another's work too after yours... He needs some knock on the head before blocking his account 😏
Such people are making blogging look so hard whereas it's not at all if you're passionate about it.
So sorry about the guy, he sure did pisses you off... But look at the brighter side, he's been caught now and we should really thank your dedicated reader, he was really vigilant.
This is very irritating and annoying, sorry dear friend.
A cheap criminal eating from where he did not sow and creating a false impression of someone in the process doesn't deserve any good thing. report the account to the hive team and it will be brought to zero. I hate nonsense
What a pity that people won’t task their brains and see how to improve they prefer to go steal content . This is bad .
Am so sad to see this . Well I hope you device other means to preventing this .

It must be very annoying, both theft and forgery. I thought Hive was more strict about that sort of thing.
Well lets see what they do. Its funny though if you are not a member of hive you can not report it. Imagine if I was only on blurt and the person is steeling from blurt to hive. Reporting it would be another matter.
This is so annoying and heartbreaking to see.
Many thieves like this are the reason why a lot of restrictions are introduced to a blockchain.
They bring bad names not only to the individual they impersonated but also to the whole blockchain when viewed from the outside world.
We are happy you found this out on time.
Depsite the setbacks and stress it might cost you,For the sake of maintaining your reputation and originality, I suggest you keep up with watermarks to curtail it from happening again sir.
Yes I will see about the best options to go forward. The water marks will add some extra hassle to the process but maybe necessary.
Okay sir
