Other cool things about Blurt is our nodes are very light thanks to fees reducing spam, so Blurt witness nodes can actually run on Raspberry Pi’s making our infra providers resilient to low coin prices and gives us true edge-of-network penetration without centralised dependencies on datacentres.
Our community is very forgiving and helpful so witnesses can tinker with home-based hardware setups as a training ground to validate on other more difficult chains.
We also don’t have a stable-coin, there have been countless articles about possible stablecoin regulation and aversion to stables that arent fiat backed, also after the Terra crash there have been discussions that governance tokens should not have ties to stable coins so I believe we are future proof.
Lastly our governance voting has been upgraded, no longer can you vote with 30x your stake for 30 witnesses, each time you vote it divides your witness vote power by an extra unit, this means hostile consensus takeovers are more difficult but deadlocks can happen so HF issuers need to be careful to ensure the proposed HF will be accepted by all parties.

All the changes you mention are good but problem of "fake stake" remains. If you want development of this blockchain then talk to Jacob about placing funds from socialgraph account in swap pools. Stop robbing the reward pool, start thinking about higher and stable BLURT price. I showed how to do it, just by placing $10K in swap pools the price increased by 100%
There is no fake stake, please stop pushing that narrative, every blockchain has a founders or foundation stake, even Satoshi took a position in bitcoin. It is not Blurt core’s role to manipulate price and infact it could cause regulatory issues if we do, price movements must come from the community,
Blurt core will be adding some liquidity and rewards to the pool to strengthen it however and I may personally do so as well, we have been discussing the same since the new year.
The price appreciation could also be due to jerrybanfield joining which is a bullish sign for Blurt.
In this new year I hope we will leave behind the past in 2022 and more towards more positive and collaborative communication, “fake stake” and “robbing the rewards pool” narratives aren’t constructive, neither are they accurate.
You will see that Socialgraph only powers down a little to pay the team, the rest is subsidised by Blurtbooster. We haven’t sold tokens and main members saboin, jacob and myself dont even power down, I have not personally realised any gain from Blurt since inception, so not sure where you get the idea from.

To be fair I thought it was bigger than it was I looked at users not that long ago and back in its day steemit had 5 k daily users now hive has 4 k and 3/4 of those most like come from splinterland players. I have more Facebook friends than hive has daily users and I’m a nobody who doesn’t try and get them. The figures made me realise that right now they are all so low any could take it. I mean if after 6 years you have less users than you had before that’s not a good sign.
I think it’s on the way out but I could be wrong they push any decent blogger off. I am with @frot tho that most the time I genuinely think it’s a CIA experiment to test a small group out with a 1984 style leadership and see how society would tolerate it. I’m not sure they want it to be busy the way they behave. They also pushed a ton of influencers off at some point. I think perhaps they like it very tiny or it doesn’t make sense.

So imagine your personal crypto following building BLURT wallets and moving ALL engagement over to accounts like This One. Comments on YouTube are nice but they don't pay and require too much attention. Maybe shut off comments in YouTube videos and instead make your YouTube videos as BLURT posts and invite your YouTube viewers to comment instead on BLURT... I have three fb accounts ranging from500 to 700 friends and i never use it it i just get a 30 day ban if i say anything
My old one had 6,000 cause I used to accept anyone that added lol so I just dumped it all and started over and now have about 3,000 I think

Then it suddenly stopped and when I genuinely met ppl on a photo shoot or something and went to add them I had to painstakingly remove 1,000 ppl if I wanted to add one lol which, is another reason I started over and was far more picky. I just see fb as a connections zone rly for work, jobs, ideas, memes lol

Seems there is some slight confusion going on the comments. I However have been a very close observer and have many... interesting facts bookmarked about the blurt "politics". However its on my computer and I have no monitor so it will have to wait. But I will go over deeply over the history of blurt and lay down the lies and misunderstanding of a few key things such as "fake blurt". No there isn't fake blurt and yes there was. But its defined state of what is fake is what is being misunderstood.

As the public can see there is even drama here. Come join it, create it, stop it, prevent it, its inevitable anyways. Many are here to stay. Many just invest and go away. So.e co.e with nothing and make something. And something is alot better than the nothing that centralized social media offers such as nospace, fedbook, twatter, reddik, etc.
This is a place for everyone to gather here voluntarily. Anonymity (so long as you choose to keep it). Free speech (so long as you keep fighting for it).
You behave however you want but since ethics and morals do matter in this world, you vehave like a bad apple you will get consequences for those actions. The consequences here is, you get coal from Santa Clause. The coal list is the black list. Meaning if your in that list you aint getting chocolate on xmas from any blurt user. Period.
Many different people here so finding a following of your favorite authors is not hard at all. It requires getting out there to read their material i stead of just blindly voting for content. Commenting for engagement. Etc.
Would I still recommend people to blurt? It sure beats FB. Yes

No one has been banned from trending. The trending page now takes into consideration how many people vote, reBlurt and comment on the post instead of just checking for the amount of votes.
This change was done several months ago and the community was informed via an official post.
I don't know anything about the fake Blurtlatam front-end called intinite. It is being run by Fervi and a few others. You might have to ask them about it.

I call it fake Blurtlatam because it is not being run by the actual Blurtlatam team. The owners of the new front-end could have called it anything but they chose to stick with Blurtlatam.
