The Shart and I

in blurt •  4 years ago

When we ventilated the steemit fart, we ended up with a big wet shart in a bag containing 60MB.

It is not mine. It is not @megadrive's.

We just administer it on behalf of the community. It does pay us, it pays others as well. We try and do our best and making good choices for who to pay and when and why.

We've spoken publicly of plans to try to realize some personal profit on the shart, and that's fact-- but it won't occur without about a $0.005 -> $ 0.3 transition.

In the end state the shart probably becomes a DAO, but probably not the one that exists here (we will upgrade it, even on the graphene codebase, if this chain continues to roll forward)

@megadrive, our faithful bursar, just sent over some BTC to repay me for servers.

It's going to build a wall, you see.

It's quite fair to say that the Probit listing wasn't a very good choice at all.

If you want to be a happy blurter, trade on @ionomy @stex @beldex.

Grab https://hummingbot.io and make their markets a bit or set up a strategy.

This sites that index exchanges, they go largely by volume.

Make volume, on all of our exchanges, except the one that doesn't care.

Contact coinmarketcap, coingecko, coinpaprikia, and others. Make sure that the index trades on ionomy, stex, and beldex.

Blurt's exchanges have shown their true colors, and there are winners and losers.

Probit is in no way in violation of their contract, just good taste.

Users who have BLURT stranded on Probit have my personal apologies.

Thank you for Sharing this Sir Jacob. Will take care that i don't choose probit now.
can i ask one more question if you do not mind.
For bkurt price to become stable isn't it a requirement that it should get listed on some big trusted exchange like binance , coinbase , bitterex etc.
will listing of blurt on different good top exchange never happen now as team is now working on different chain Blurt 2.0 or Bling.

Sir Frk,

Can you handle ambiguity, or would you prefer that I pretend that I know exactly what will occur over the next six months and at what time?

I can address this question in either voice, but I do prefer to give you the ambiguous facts.

Trouble is, not everyone can handle ambiguity, makes them kinda anxious.

Tears are coming from my eyes because i have blurts on probit.
I am just waiting for them to resume withdrawals and then will get them out of there.

Hopefully i will switch to ionomy for future trades , buy and sell.

It will happen but maybe not fast.

I'm sure it will be resolved, but I don't know how fast that'll be.

My apologies.

Yes , I also hope that it gets resolved soon. Also no need to apologise , it's not your fault jacob.
It's alright 🙂.

Pro tip #1 .... never ever HODL crypto on an Exchange. If you do it belongs to the Exchange and not you. The best thing to do with Blurt, Hive etc .... is to Power up 100% .

If you're on an exchange, you're not HODLing.

I keep positions on exchanges, and HODL on-chain.

Sound advice Mr. Bot.

I strongly back Ionomy. I'm wary of exchanges, and have used them several times without problem.

I've never used Probit, but hearing they are holding others coins like this is exactly why so many like myself are wary of using exchanges. I used Coinbase 3 times years ago after joining Steem. Worried the entire time they would freeze my coins as so many reviews say they are prone to doing, as they then ignore your requests on getting YOUR property back.

I don't worry when I deal with Ionomy with this. I had grown to trust Binance as well, but unfortunately they closed themselves off to US clients due to the restrictive intent by US government.

I wish we could get coingecko to use them in their price feed for Blurt. It appears they only acknowledge Probit and Stex, although both of those are greyed out.

The ONLY reason Steemit lost to Justin Sun was the fact that so many Steemit (Hive) whales had so much Steem on the Exchanges.

Well, I as a HODLER am safe in this situation, but thank you very much for sharing this

For me it was clear since the first day. I stick to @ionomy, because I already had an account there anyway. And the people who know me, know that I'm too lazy to look elsewhere if the one thing works. :)

Of course, if Blurt ever makes it to coinbase, it would be much much better, because that would support my laziness even more. :D

After reviewing many echanges, in the end I opted for ionomy, although I have been registered for a very short time, thanks for alerting about this situation
