Hi everyone, I wish to shill my higher fees proposal.
Rewards are finally working correctly. I have seen some posts earn as much as $20.
But it is still very cheap to post on blurt, much less than a penny.
every transaction causes permanent changes in the state of the blockchain, specifically an expansion in the size of the overall state that must be maintained by witnesses.
This is why any serious cryptocurrency has fees. My concern is that it seems like we are entering a period of growth here at blurt.
The daily user code is up dramatically and The blockchain could begin to expand rapidly.
To prevent rapid blockchain expansion, fees are necessary.
I want to advocate for a few level of one penny per kilobyte or higher, so that our black chain does not grow beyond our ability to support it.
I support this proposal, it's about time to do so, since rewards are finally picking-up. Also, I hope that this will add up to the motivation for witnesses and prospective witnesses.
More witnesses and hopefully more development as well.
i think we have 2 be careful with that and adopt a wait and c for now until the growth is indeed unsustainable (happy days) at this point not yet i speculate. not to forget that the masses will come in with barely a handful of blurt - if any - in the pocket! i am also not really looking for (my or someone's) interpretation of quality since quality is in the eye of the beholder, makes sense? on the other hand, i appreciate to have the chain developments monitored diligently with loving care 👍
I agree with you about wait and see. I think that it's important that we monitor what new user experiences are like and make sure that new users have a good time.
I agree. Pump the fees. We need this platform to be sustainable.
yes that is important for the proper functional blockchain as well .
