Seeking 1:1 Javascript tutor

in blurt •  4 years ago

Hi,

I think I'm really slow working with JavaScript and I am looking for someone who can do screen share sessions with me more or less on demand and assist me and teach me.

This is definitely a full stack affair.

Our stack looks like:

  • blurtd
  • blurtjs
  • koa
  • react
  • js-ipfs
  • go-ipfs
  • caddy / nginx
  • docker

I generally use JetBrains editing tools, but am learning Vim, and am particurlarly interested in NeoVim.

Absolutely willing to pay market rate. Quality is better than quantity.

I don't know JS from a hole in the ground. I used it in the late '90s to animate buttons on mouseover on my personal website back when that was a thing. I want to learn it again eventually, but I'm still learning Python at the moment.

I'll give you my opinionated take on programming languages to learn, it is actually another brief. If you want to develop backend systems, such as databases or web servers or blockchains you really have only two choices and those are go and rust. You could use C or c++, and you know you could also bang your Head on a wall for 6 hours until you crack your skull open but you shouldn't.

And then if your application is going to run in a web browser, you'll end up using JavaScript end of story.

the hot front end framework which is supposed to be very productive to work in is called Vue.js.

For mobile devices especially if you are trying to deliver a secure product, I strongly recommend writing the code in dart and using the flutter application framework to cross compile for Android and iOS.

It's a lot of javascript , and a pro can help maybe...!!!!

Have made the determination that condenser has to go.

It is not really maintainable.

I would like to give 97% features with 10% of the code.
