it's very very late and in fact it's early, it's about 7 AM for me and I fix the bug with mega drive, it took me literally all night and the damn thing was just two letters that I had messed up in a config file. So we have a new branch in the gate laboratory which is simply called pain.
But that pain is solved now, builds work and I'm going to publish a detailed, multi-platform build guide. Previously, we only could build on Debian 10.
But anyhow I was messing with them internets, and clicked Omegele-- I'd not done this before; did not know what it was exactly.
Ended up in a webrtc p2p video chat with a 20's Norwegian dude, and we had a super-great conversation.
I am world as we camped the entire year to more or less a complete stranger and it was actually a very enjoyable conversation.
p2p video chat is not so hard to do.
I am thinking about adding that to Blurt.
Is that a thing we want?
Additionally I should note that Omegele is anonymous. Could make a Blurtegele anonymous, as well, or not. Or not do this at alll. I am curious if anyone here has used Omegele and what their thoughts are on it.
Cheers!

i am happy that your error is resolved.
I haven't used the platform you mention, however carrying the Blurt code to other distros that will open the Pandora's box because we have plenty of hardware that supports using free software from a PS3 passing through a Raspberry, a computer among other custom hardware. Only free software can enhance this. My floor would be a Raspberry cluster running a node.
I find the principle very interesting. However, for me it represents a completely different communication than Blurt. To integrate a chat in itself in Blurt I think is very good and worth supporting.
Greetings Michael
I understand, I once programmed and I know what it's like to spend days with a stupid error of just one line of code. I haven't used Omegle, but the little I could see above it, has some security flaws, I'll keep investigating a little more.
Wow, I think it is so great idea for our community. It's needed. Thanks, @jacobgadikian.
Not a bad idea! Anything capable of giving us a meaningful engagement would always be welcome by the community.
Let's think that you are a Skynet envoy to program the intelligent network under which the exterminators will be created. A huge effort that will bear fruit over time
