That is awesome. Is there any documentation anywhere as to how a person might add a new node? This is something I would be very interested in participating in.
it is just the system image really, so there aren't any big advantages of Pi--other than that the Pi is likely to require less setup until I get https://github.com/faddat/sos shipping as machine images... and then those machine images could be harder to install than flashing an SD card.
I read that there is a possibility to add an SSD to Raspberry, is it possible that this is an advantage when implementing the nodes or is it an unnecessary step?
This certainly isn't for a Blurt witness node, is it?

That's coming as soon as I feel confident in it and I told @megadrive that's in the next few days.
He is setting one up.
If that goes well I think that's the sign.
Done
Ordered 2. Exciting!
Yeah I mean it all devolves down into a swarm of raspberry pi swarms.
Looking at the prices, I can buy a PC locally for about the same price, say an intel i5.
So, what are the advantages of an RPi compared to an i5 for a blockchain node?
Thanks!

It is a possible advantage but I just don't know actually.
people say that the microSD card can run out of reads right cycles and I know that that's true but I've never had that problem.
Thats a amazing news
Basically after seeing specifications the 4 is the best option. 128 gb
Is this a good kit ? price ?

Ali Express
Wow .... Thanks a ton.... much better deal.
At Ali express it may take longer, but I'm sure the prices are better. I was checking prices yesterday
Tried to Order..... Ali express can’t ship to Canada ?????
If they ship to the United States, I must assume that for Canada they must do so as well. You can pay by Paypal
How hot does the Pi get during operation? And is additional cooling necessary?
I have never used heatsinks. Will run that for you now.
edit:
Many Thanks. 62 ° C is ok :-)
Always on point. Keep up the zeal sir! Even the sky knows that it's not your limit in the world of programming. Kudos!
Awesome! Still new here on Blurt but looks promising (twitter/reddit/medium).
