I went on digging and has discussions about it. I see that there are people who are creating accounts by sending Blurt from exchanges.

So, I have two observations one is that Blurt is not an echo chamber as people are creating accounts.
And the thing I like about Blockchain is that everything is on the chain.
The second observation is that the account creation process is a bit tough for someone who is a complete newbie.
The team is about to come up with an easier way to create an account.
Okay, but that is a very small number of people who are managing to create an account that way. And they have to be crypto literate and holding cryptos on exchanges. That would exclude even someone like me. Things like that are a partial solution for a small number of people, but not a sign of success in our onboarding situation.
Hopefully this easier way to create an account is successful. I hope there are very few barriers for the user. And others can come up with solutions too.

These numbers are from the Symbionts account creation service. There are other services and ways people can create accounts.
There's the official Blurt signup and there are hundreds of thousands of accounts that were inherited from Steemit.
So, keep your excitement down and look at the numbers on the Blockchain. I can only share the numbers of active users on the platform, you as a developer can pull the complete data from the Blockchain.

See there are thousands of accounts that were migrated from Steem when it was forked.
So, the growth that you are so worried about is bigger than what you think.
Did you create an account on Blurt or did you have one from Steem days?
Drutter here has like 3-4 accounts for himself and his family that he had created on Steem.
Even if the new signups look low the adoption isn't low. I hope you are able to understand my point because I know you are yelling and not thinking straight.
A lot of people are spreading FUB about Blurt and want to see Blurt fail.
You are a developer and you can easily pull data from the Blockchain and share the data with all of us.
In an Open Source Community such as BLURT I should not have to do this type of detective work myself it should be a commonly known METRIC that we are ALL aware of so that we know how much we are growing or shrinking at any time...
How else would you run a successful operation?
You have been around open source communities all your life and you know that it is the community that puts all efforts and since you are a developer I think you must look up the data from the Blockchain and share with us.
Some people are good at calming others down, and I can see you are one of them, and you are commendable in this role.
Please also acknowledge when it is time to change your mind because new information is disclosed that shows how BAD a problem is.

I followed the instructions to create an account with Blurt and sent the tokens but the account was not created.
I just checked and the Blurt withdrawal is registered in Hive Engine, it also appears in @ecosynthesis wallet.
Is there any way to contact him to have the account created or to have the tokens returned to the originating account?
