By the way, what's your idea to control spam and abuse after minimizing the fee to negligible levels? Are fee really redundant?
On blurt, every action consume fee but lower can help new start and earn more.
For spam or abuse the system, they can try and make spam, and every action consume fee but spammer may pay less for that action but it will reduce the spammer balance and finally when no balance left, spammer can't post anymore.
So I meant to ask that do you think 0.001 BLURT (at current prices of 0.7 cent per BLURT) can be a deterrent for spammers?
I don't know what kind of data precedents are taken into account to reach such decisions. Or is it just some guess work for trial & error?
0.001 or 1.00 blurt is not different to spammer as the price of blurt is so cheap now, it can't stop spammer if spammer really want to abuse.
But every post consumes fee, it pays something to make spam so, it will make spammer think twice to spam on the system.
My idea is for all blurtter to help them pay less while on blutter!
The actual fee is control by witness at that current around, so mostly the top 20 witness is control the system fee.
Sorry, I couldn't understand your vision completely. What I get is that you are of the opinion that these insignificant fee can't stop the spammers. But I didn't quite get your reasoning as on why a spammer won't spam on this system.
