Every other day there is a storm where I am living at the moment. Someone caught these ones in the picture back in 2009.
It would be possible to catch similar things at the moment from the right position.
Some of the actual strikes have been visible from my little corner of the southeast.
I was nearby in Kazichene in 2014 when there was the big hailstorm. You still see cars around with dings from it.
Anyway, very strange times we are living in. This weather is unusual also.
