Sama-Bajau is a group of people who live in the seas of Asian countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
This group of people, who live in the middle of the sea, rarely come to the land.

They have been living in the sea for more than 4000 years, having built floating houses in the sea.
They have no nationality,
There is no permanent shelter, no money as a medium of exchange.
Without diving equipment, they can stay under the sea for up to 230 feet for up to 13 minutes taking only one breath.
Their bodies are genetically designed to be able to dive.
Their thyroid gland is functioning very well, so their hormone levels are very high.

And they have a big genetic advantage.
(The spleen is an organ that functions as a blood filter,
The spleen removes old red blood cells and recycles iron. It can keep the blood oxygen level constant. )

They mostly engage in diving to catch and eat fish using this method.
