Belihuloya River Visit

Hi friends!
Another exciting excursion to Sabaragamuwa Province's Belihuloya. I used to go to waterfalls whenever I had a vacation since nature can help us relax. As a software developer, I spend the majority of my day in front of a computer, so visits like these allow me to relax and enjoy my life.

Belihuloya is a village in Sri Lanka's Sabaragamuwa Province's Ratnapura District. [1] It's about 150 kilometers (93 miles) south of Colombo and is at a height of 616 meters (2,021 feet) above sea level. This hilltop site serves as a climatically transitional zone, connecting the dry and rainy zones, as well as the hill and low region. The name Belihuloya is derived from the Belih Oya (Sinhala for river), which runs across the area.

The Belihuloya is a spot where most visitors spend time, occasionally enjoying in activities that are not available anywhere else on the planet. 'Fish treatment on the river,' for example, or a brief swim in a 'Natural pool on the river,' or a 'Water therapy/massage in a 'Natural Jacuzzi' on the river. The waters of river Belihuloya originate in the pristine nature reserve Horton Plains, cascading to create waterfalls such as 'Baker's Falls,"Galagama Falls,' and many other small falls, and thumping its way down through thousands of boulders in a stretch of over 4 km, reaching the valley of Ulugalathenna about 2000 meters below.
