At the maximum of trust.....
This lady, Annie Shiva.
Imagine, you're at least 18 years old girl. You fall in love with a boy, marry him and start living with him against your parents' will. You trust the right person and believe you made the right decision. But unfortunately, the person you loved didn't deserve your love. He gave up on you. Not just you, but also a baby in your tummy at 6 months old. You are rejected by your family and the entire society. You have no place to go, no way to live. Not only you, you have a little belly to feed.
Yes this is what Annie Shiva faced her life unexpectedly. But she didn't give up on it. To make a living, she started selling sweets, lemonade and groceries on the streets, as a shop assistant and prepared projects and records for students; living under the shadow of a small hut. She did not ask for anyone and lived by mercy of none.
But she didn't give up on her dreams and classical career. Despite difficulties in her life, she completed a degree in sociology. She traveled from place to place with her son named Shivasuriya.
For 14 years she physically turned out to be a man people thought her and her son were brothers! Because we know there is a unique disease that Indian society who assumes a single woman as weak. Or easy to catch
After 14 years of continuous struggle, but still her determination hasn't changed within her, she studied almost 20 hours a day, wrote SI test, on top of her work, now, she's finally appointed as a Deputy Police Inspector in Kerala. She is in the police now. She is now living a satisfied life with her son, finally over all her odds.
She says, “Some days even one meal a day seems like a luxury. My son is hungry crying, sleeping I was watching helplessly.
She wrote on Facebook, "What could be a better revenge than the struggles I've faced all these years?" I somehow managed not to mentally fall. After all this misery, when a woman is successful in her life, people will pity and spread lies about them. So me and my son out here living like a brother and brother. Every time life tried to pull me down I worked 10 times harder to come out stronger and stronger. This was my small victory but in a world full of negative kindness, I'm glad it can be strength and inspiration to so many. I feel better now knowing I did it all by myself and could give my son a better life.
This has to be the highest point of trust. Because I know if something like this happened to me I would probably give up on my life.
