Breast removal. This can lead to lymph nodes. A lymph node is swelling, usually in one of your arms or legs. Sometimes both arms or both legs swell.
Lymph nodes are most commonly caused by removing or damaging lymph nodes as part of cancer treatment.
It results in blockage of your lymphatic system, which is part of your immune system. The blockage prevents lymph fluid from flowing properly, and the fluid buildup causes swelling.
