Today we have tropical storm Nana moving westward, it's center will pass some 100 kilometres north of us. I don't expect anything much hitting us, perhaps some gusts of wind, some water and a slightly turbulent sea. I spent about one hour by the seaside looking at the sea, in that time it went from calm to some one or two foot waves. I guess when the storm is directly in front of us we will have four or five foot seas.
I did come back home because it started to drizzle and I didn't want to be caught in the rain, but I got back home and still only a drizzle. Perhaps we will get that rain later on. The ship that was laying cable yesterday is not there today probably it went looking for shelter, I guess the captain thought better safe than sorry.
Well, I hope it passes by you without incident... storms can cause so much damage.
