Complex L'Àgora (Valencia) 🌇🌍🗺️🕍🚵♂️
Hi friends.
Today I want to tell you about one of the buildings in the City of Sciences and Arts in Valencia.
In fact, it is a separate town containing a whole complex of futuristic buildings.
It will be about the exhibition complex L'Àgora.🕍🚵♂️
L'Àgora is a multifunctional indoor space designed by Santiago Calatrava and located in the City of Science and Arts in Valencia, Spain.
The building is 70 m (230 ft) high and occupies 5,000 m2 of open-plan space resembling a pointed ellipse approximately 88 m (289 ft) long and 66 m (217 ft) wide. Depending on the configuration of the space, the maximum capacity can reach 6075 people.
The building is a transparent large arena with a glass roof along its spine and a movable structure to control natural light. Tall white steel chest-shaped arches give the interior an organic element, while the exterior is geometric and stands out beautifully against the architecture of Valencia.
L'Àgora was officially opened in November 2009 for the Valencia Open 500 ATP tournament, although construction work was not fully completed and was only completed in 2015.
Let's admire this building from the inside together.
