I'm back having a look at Blurt - my feed is thin to say the least - I suspect bugger all people are looking at it, and nearly everyone I follow has stopped posting.
I'm also still watching the Tour de France but it finishes this weekend and then I'll be bored as fuck and looking to go online and have a wild time
In many ways Blurt is not a bad platform - it works well for doing medium to long blog posts, as does Hive, but it has one major strength - no downvoting.
My two cents worth - just post your shit and don't worry what anyone thinks - if a bunch of entertaining people did that, this platform could turn around, maybe, otherwise it's fucked...
I am still tossing up whether to start posting here again because I have a soft spot for Blurt, but I also think all social media is totally lame and Blurt is no exception. If I do start posting it won't be in the hope of earning $1 a post, I couldn't give a toss, it will be to see what happens.

this lack of obvious desire for change, really adds massive amounts of wight to the argument that it's a ponzi scheme simply operating on the greater fool theory.
It then makes logical sense for 'the powerless that be, but think they have power', to hang on, and do nothing - hoping for someone to come in - especially when taking into consideration the kind of psychological profiles of individuals that might see it a such, are made up...
Any change in ethos would require a change in mentality, and that would show up in the actions on the block chain.
I see no evidence in change ethos, from the childish egocentric perspective, over to a grown up, hard business head, perspective.
I mean, seriously - my old enemies that I reached out to do business with, haven't even given me a couple of mill in delegation, seriously, to get some peeps onto this platform - including a potential user with going on half a mill followers...nada...lol..

My Blurt account is worth 29 cents now - I lost about $2k on that gamble, but that's cryptos - I lost about 4k on Bastyon, but I made enough on Hive to make that all no big deal. What I learned is that I really need to keep blogging and crypto trading separate, and if anything, not giving a toss about payouts leads to better content. Right now the best content I'm seeing is my Facebook feed unbelievably (and I hate FB)
did oyu know images , as opposed to words, imprint themselves on the brain something like 15 x faster (off top of my head) - and they never discern, they just 'assume' it's fact...
Ergo the image has already been designated as truth before your conscious mind has gotten there to work it out...aaaaand that's why symbology is so powerful

Outward appearances are often deceiving, but that's usually all we have to judge by.
Your two cents is something I will consider. I like to see differing options even when I disagree. Blurt does allow everyone to post although your audience can still decide to mute you.
Next month will be seven years on blogging blockchain platforms for me - and the pattern always repeats - they get gradually more boring until they disappear up their own arse... Fuck it, that will be my next post!
