According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, An anti-dote is something that relieves, prevents, or counteracts. Anxiety can be said to be
Intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. It's a psychological, physiological, and behavioral state induced in animals and humans by a threat to well-being or survival, either actual or potential.Fast heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating and feeling tired may occur during state of anxiety. Anxiety can be normal in stressful situations such as public speaking or taking a test but it becomes a thing of concern when it become excessive, all-consuming and interfere with daily living. It's believed that the chemical substance serotonin is largely implicated in anxiety. Serotonin is involved in processing of emtions.
Anxiety is something everyone experiences at one point or the other but it all depends on how we handle or manage it

Experiences that accompany anxiety include:

*Feeling nervous, restless or tense

*Having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom

*Having an increased heart rate

*Breathing rapidly (hyperventilation)

*Sweating

*Trembling

*Feeling weak or tired

*Trouble concentrating or thinking about anything other than the present worry

*Having trouble sleeping

*Experiencing gastrointestinal problems

*Having difficulty controlling worry

*Having the urge to avoid things that trigger anxiety,etc
Anxiety disorders differ from normal feelings of nervousness or anxiousness because they involve excessive fear or anxiety, and typically cause reactions out of proportion to the circumstances. Anxiety disorders can interfere with job performance, school work, and relationships.

[1]Anxiety can produce both physical and emotional symptoms. People with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) experience symptoms like restlessness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, chronic fatigue, nausea, dizziness, and worsening worry or fear over extended periods of time.
[2]Other common anxiety disorders include panic disorder, specific phobias, separation anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and selective mutism.
[3]Anxiety disorders are the most common of mental disorders and will affect nearly 30% of adults at some point in their lives.
[4]Genaralized Anxiety Disorder affects 6.8 million adults in the United States, and women are twice as likely to be affected as men.
[5]Nearly 50% of Americans diagnosed with depression are also diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.

Untreated anxiety can lead to other mental disorders, such as depression or substance abuse. People with anxiety, especially when not properly treated, have a higher risk of suicide or self-harm behaviors. People with untreated anxiety may lead a life of isolation.

Anxiety can be managed using medications( particularly when it's disturbing). Medications used in the management of anxiety are called anxiolytics.

Other than medication,an absolute reliance on God is been found to be an effective means of handling anxiety and it's been found to be very reliable. The sense of having the feeling that everything is under the control of God, gives inner peace and calmness, which guarantee a stable mood and balance in the serotonin/dopamine level in the body. The advantage is this,is that it's doesn't have any side effects. The inner peace we get when we have our total dependence on God,is that it turns puts us in state where we are mentally stable enough to address or handle whatsoever is before us.

Actress Lily James attested to the effectiveness in handling anxiety spiritually ie a take solace in God. She said her Dad introduce this method to her and ever since she is been applying it and it been working for her. Good a thing is that it doesn't have any side effect and 💯% effective.
