Romans 3:21-31 KJV
[21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
[24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
[25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
[26] To declare, I say , at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
[27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
[28] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
[29] Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
[30] Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
[31] Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
The Bible says “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Yet God declares is righteous, this shows how kind our God is.
God through His redemptive activity in the sphere of our sin has reconciled us to Himself. He liberates us from the power of evil and put us in the right relationship with Himself. He did this when He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. Jesus Christ was presented as sacrifice for our sins. We are free from death (which is the wages of sin) through His death on the cross.
Anyone that believes that Jesus died to set us free from the bondage of sin will be made right with God. Instead of punishing those that sinned, God sent Jesus Christ to die in their place. Therefore, our God is fair, just and righteous. So for all that believe and accept Christ by faith, they get salvation, righteousness, justification and many more that are given to us freely through Christ.
God is forever righteous. His righteousness is constant and we have to know that His righteousness is the power of God unto salvation that accompanies a believer. God expects us to also accept others in our different places of pursuit and relevance. We are to invite people we come across to the knowledge of God through Christ Jesus.
We are to make deliberate effort to bring our families, friends, neighbours, colleagues and everyone around us into the complete righteousness of God in Christ. Righteousness from God through Jesus is for all who believe.
We will all be justified freely by grace through Jesu Christ, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. This is a call to everyone to accept God’s free call to salvation and extend it to other people around.
I pray God will help us to hold on to His call to salvation and righteousness and lead others to come to Him in Jesus name. Amen
