The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an self_observing report design to identify person’s personality type, strengths, & preferences that how people think about world and make decisions. People experience the world using four principal psychological functions — sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking — and that one of these four functions is ascendent for a person most of the time. The four categories are Introversion/Extraversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, Judging/Perception. Each person is said to have one preferred quality from each category, producing 16 unique types.

The MBTI was constructed for normal populations and emphasizes the value of naturally occurring differences. The underlying assumption of the MBTI is that we all have specific preferences in the way we interpret our experiences, and these preferences underlie our interests, needs, values, and motivation.

Based on the answers to the questions on the inventory, people are identified as having one of 16 personality types. The goal of the MBTI is to allow respondents to further explore and understand their own personalities including their likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, possible career preferences, and compatibility with other people.

No personality type is “best” or “better” than other one. It isn’t a tool designed to look for dysfunction or abnormality. Instead, its goal is simply to help you learn more about yourself.

I test my personality using 16 personality test(MBTI) in the 2nd session of Foster learning Pakistan. According to results of MBTI the trait that suits to my personality is INTP(Logician).

INTP (introverted, intuitive, thinking, perceiving) is one of the 16 personality types described by the MBTI. People who score as INTP are often described as quiet and analytical. They enjoy spending time alone, thinking about how things work and coming up with solutions to problems. INTPs have a rich inner world and would rather focus their attention on their internal thoughts rather than the external world. They typically do not have a wide social circle, but they do tend to be close to a select group of people.

The Logician personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the population, which is definitely a good thing for them, as there’s nothing they’d be more unhappy about than being “common”. Logicians pride themselves on their inventiveness and creativity, their unique perspective and vigorous intellect. Usually known as the philosopher, the architect, or the dreamy professor, Logicians have been responsible for many scientific discoveries throughout history.

As an introvert, I prefer spending time alone for the most part as it is also suitable for me to become a software developer & computer programmer because it needs deep thinking. After being around a lot of people, I might feel like I need to spend some time alone to recharge and find balance. I tend to be warm and friendly with my close group of family and friends.

Because I enjoy solitude and deep thinking it also helps me in future to accomplish my goals, I sometimes strike others as aloof and detached. At times, I can get lost in my own thoughts and lose track of the outside world. I love ideas and place a high value on intelligence and knowledge that is very beneficial for me.

However, I can become unyielding when my beliefs or convictions are challenged. My high emphasis on logic can make it difficult not to correct others in situations where other people present arguments that are not rational or logical. Because I rely on my own mind rather than others, I can also be very difficult to persuade.

Because I enjoy theoretical and abstract concepts, I often do particularly well in science-related fields. I am logical and have strong reasoning skills, but also excellent at thinking creatively.

I can be very independent and place a great deal of emphasis on personal freedom and autonomy. In some cases, I can be aggravated by authority figures, particularly I try to suppress my ability to think and act for myself. Because of this, I typically do best in career as I have a great deal of flexibility and independence.
