The Chain and its Discontents

You're absolutely correct! Things always start small, and we should always be critical of what deserves to be criticized, but we should also be constructive in our criticism, and not just for the sake of being contrarian. It is very easy to point out problems, but it is more productive to find solutions.

Do you think, I am able to make constructive critiques?
I agree, it's easy to point out what is problematic. My own stance on this topic is not a hard line position. Maybe you have noticed.
To some things there are no solutions though. It's a matter of ongoing processes.

That's true, some problems do not have current solutions, so I try not to complain about them until I feel that I have come closer to some solution.

I hope that where and what I comment on is not perceived as "complaint" but as something to ponder or wonder about or even get inspired. Also, I have nothing against sharp critiques if they aim at the topic and not towards me as a human being.

;-)

I have always found your comments to be polite and thoughtful. And I agree that the best way to dialogue is to focus on what we are saying, and not a person's character.
