Manchester United board have issued a statement following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The board has also confirmed Michael Carrick will take charge as the interim manager.
The sack has raised a lot of mixed feelings. The truth be said, football is not a sentimental game, it is rather
result-driven.
The results were going from bad to worse and obviously, football is a results business. Let not be hypothetical the sack was necessary. The players have a portion of the blame as well but the managerhas control of the players.
There are a couple of managers that would probably be fit for Manchester Unite. I wish they look to for Zinedine Zidane to take the great club to another level.
We love Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a person, but his role as a manager of the great club seems to have overwhelmed him. He is definitely going to do well elsewhere. I wish him good luck as he moves on with life.
