Onboarding new users and earn referral rewards!

in blurt •  4 years ago  (edited)

Just added a referral system to the https://blurt.buzz and https://blurt.blog (soon blurt.world and blurtworld.com)

How does referral system works?

  • New users sign up a new account thru a referral link
  • 3% of their post rewards within 30 days of account creation will send to referrer

What are the benefits?

  • Passive incomes for those who are actively on boarding new users
  • Referrers will help the new comers grow because more rewards the referees earn, referrers will also earn more

How to get the referral link?

How to find out who signup a new account using my referral link?

  • After users created an account using your referral link, you will automatically receive a transfer:

The referral system currently only available on https://blurt.buzz and https://blurt.blog, soon will be added to https://blurt.world and https://blurtworld.com

Any feedback is welcome

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.
If you enjoyed what you read here, create your account today and start earning FREE BLURT!
Sort Order:

I am very glad that it was not done as described in the whitepaper:

it pays out 5% of every blurt your referral redeem from the reward pool to you. The 5% offer lasts for a lifetime

and

The Reward chain spreads across the users that join blurt through your generation.

I was not at all enthusiastic about it!

3% of their post rewards within 30 days sounds much better. I like the number 3 :-)

I have now posted my existing German Article in English Create Blurt Account for a friend as well. So we can invite friends via Ref-Link and offer to pay the account creation fee for them. So both have an advantage, win-win. I like win-win situations :-)

As always great work, thanks a lot!

I don't like the idea to have referral done on the chain level and also for lifetime. 3% and 30 days are what I'm thinking reasonable numbers.

Referrers can earn pretty good rewards if new comers are doing well. Also referrers only get 30 days of the rewards, that means they need to actively promote BLURT to new users so they can continuously earning referral rewards.

Na Super, jetzt kan ich mein Video nochmal überarbeiten.....(Erfreulicher weise!!)

Ja die 3 ist bekannt als Lucky Number 😅

lg 🤠

Oh! Na ja, erfreulicherweise hört sich trotzdem gut an. Gutes Gelingen, ich bin gespannt.

so 30 day posst? no downvotes? referals? dude blurt could replace Gab.ai and reddit for alt right and make billions andhave 100 of millions of conservatives

we also have https://cryptowars.me

when will we get blurt engine too? could be so easy

blurt could really seriously get popular since theres no downvotes, its pure freedom

you need a few extra front ends and a desktop app no one can censor

But their voting power will be close to 0 right? So first month can expect a low to 0 BLURT?

Yes, maybe. But also as a newcomer with 0 BP you can get good rewards.

Oh lala! What a great opportunity you have given us, Ericet. Thank you for this valuable effort.
Good vibes.

Once again the value you add to Blurt is tremendous! Thank you.

This method will help both the referrer and the owner. That's good idea...

I really appreciate this idea @ericet. This can be a reason why people already on blurt will find new people to join so that both can earn.
Good work as always 👌

This is a great idea. The major challenge for new users who wish to open account on blurt is always the account fee and liquid blurt before they could post.
That's what keeps the account of most of my friends before I finally get to help them.

Nice thing on blurt to get more users

This would become very usefull to me @ericet

Great Work. 3% over 30 Days sounds fair :)

This is super great news. Here's a suggestion. What if we could add feature to front ends where users can set default beneficiaries for each post & referrals have it auto set as 3% for the account that referred them. Once they get a better hang of Blurt they can manually change that.

just thinking out loud :)

The beneficiary will be available if the future release.

That's awesome to hear!
Thank You :)

wow that is a good deal and a good reason to onboard people...boom!!

Have you guys add anything like hivesighner or anything in those daps while logging?

you can use keychain or whalevault to login

@ericet - I definitely think that Blurt has a great appeal and it is the way its main Witnesses and staff notify about the advances of the platform. Keep up the good work! Greetings! <3 B!#RT

This will encourage users to promote #blurt more @ericet :D

This is brilliant! Here's my invitation tweet - go give it a like!

Once uploaded to the main branch. We can use it too?

Yes, it will be nice if all frontends will implement it.

When it's ready I will upgrade all servers I have to support it. Looking forward to see it happening.
Keep me posted.

yes, probably within 1 hour. I will keep you posted

Cool. I guess I will stay all night.
By the way, all the update to the main branch also includes all exchanges?

All I have to do is git pull from the main branch to apply the update?

yes, you can do that.

It is great you buit such a alternative UI for blurt.blog.

谢谢

wao, how cool, I like your constant improvements to the platform.

This is cool. It will lead to more users being unboarded and it will go mainstream

That is excellent news @ericet, and I like the idea that the referral payment is contingent on the posts by newcomers... otherwise people will just enroll thousands and they will all end up as dead accounts... that's what happened with WEKU, and it was a total flop. It is also good that we will be able to see who signs up with our link.

Oh cool, someone forked the busy front en don to blurt, i always liked using it. WIll it also have that auto upvote thingy busy had based on how much BP your followers have?

Not yet.

I think 30 days are enough. If newbies do good. then referrer can have some handy as bonus. Because the way blurt is advancing, he/she would join blurt automatically later. Good reward for referencing. Thanks for the system.

This is a really great move. I believe the referral program will go a long way in ensuring more recruits and blurt adoption.

Please is there plans to list Blurt on more exchanges?

Cheers!

@ericet, thank you for this wonderful tips. I'm new on this platform and was never thought about this tip before joining blurt. Though i registered without using a referral account. It's really helpful and will go a long way in helping me onboard more people to blurt. Thank you once again.🙏

Wow! That's a beautiful idea. I've been planning on writing a post already which is going to base on if there's a plan on creating a refferal links for blutters. Didn't know there's an article that addressed the issue already. Let's go get my pals boarded

Very nice initiative, with this people will be willing to come to blurt.
Nice job

How do you expect me to join as a new user when I get scammed by @blurtlink sending my blurt to Hive-Engine.

It's been more than one month and he just won't process the transfer.

I have nothing to do with @blurtlink, ask someone from blurtlink channel in the blurt discord to help.

This is really a great idea, at least this encourages people to bring in their friends, family and colleagues into the blurt community

@ericet -This method will help both the referrer and the owner. That's good idea. Thanks for sharing this post.

I like your post a lot. Because you have written everything in order, so I believe in you very much. Because you are a big man. So you will go a long way. This is my hope

3% for 30 days? Yoke. Especially that new users probably won't get much during their first days.
Better do constant immediate reward.

i like these transaction fees , makes the network valuable
