well, in that case, you should probably keep in mind that you can be banned on a whim

but in most other places, being banned from the "official" blog means being banned from the entire platform and losing access to your own data

for example, when jordan peterson made headline news by protesting canada's "pronoun law", he was banned from his personal gmail account and his work gmail account

most people (including myself) never imagined that google would or could ban someone from their personal gmail account without any avenue for appeal and NOT for any "crime" but for simply having an "unpopular opinion"

That is probably why I am overly sensitive on this topic. Some people here in Germany had to face their bank accounts being closed, as it was reported.
