I can embed tweets on Hive just fine.
You do realise this is a security vulnerability, right? I would strongly oppose adding it. If you want to embed tweets a specific additional functionality could be added. Even as simple as capturing the tweet as an image and wrapping it in an anchor tag.
Javascript is a quagmire of security issues. Rendering scripts will never happen.
