New Feature: Track Your Earnings and Votes in Appreciator App! 🚀

I recall on Steem there was a big sense that every keystroke was important, and that one should never post or comment unless something useful was being added. The blockchain was to be kept pristine. Posts and comments were often edited later on to keep them correct and current. Many put effort and pride into their content. Some of that has faded away in time. And on Blurt, I feel there's a bit less emphasis on that. "Blurting" (saying something quickly) seems to mean short posts are acceptable, as long as they do add something. Shitposting for auto-votes is still frowned upon, for good reason. But there's a freedom here that isn't found elsewhere, and I appreciate that.

It was on steemit or hive unhealthy, unfortunately. Because let's think about it... how many times a regular internet forum, a chat or just a simple graphic, was a much more valuable source of knowledge for us or also an answer to what we are looking for than, for example, a long article. If people do something out of passion and do it to help others or simply give good advice, even 3-4 sentences can often be more useful than a mega scientific and refined article.

And this is, I think, the challenge facing blurt to turn off this unhealthy attention focused solely on creating content for earning money that many users brought here from there and channel it simply to using the platform in such a way that true and natural activity will be rewarded ;)
