On the first day of 2023, I set myself a goal of amassing 1,000,000 BP by the end of the year. Starting with about half that, I posted, commented, curated, and flat out bought my way to the 97.5% mark as of December 12th! It's really coming down to the wire. Can I pull it off?
There are 20 more days this year. I'm earning about 500-700 BP per day, including interest, curation rewards, post payouts, and comment payouts. I could maybe push that to 750.
20 x 750 = 15,000
So with a valiant effort, I might be able to end the year with 990,000 BP. If I keep up that frantic pace, I'll breach the million around the middle of January.

I just went through all my old Hive accounts, and found some minuscule scrapings from powerdowns and wallet messages. Along with a few tokens in my Hive-Engine account, it pooled together and was converted into BLURT. Thanks to today's price drop, I was able to claw together 1000 BP this way, and have just powered it up.
So I'm actually at 976,000 BP!
I've also got almost 38,000 delegated from other accounts, meaning I'm already curating with 1,014,000 BP. It feels great! My votes are worth about 0.15 USD each at current prices.
When BLURT goes back to the price it was when I converted most of my HIVE (Apr 2022), my upvotes will be worth $1.5 USD each. My posts will be earning $30 each, and my comments will be earning about a dollar each.
When BLURT goes back to its all-time high, my upvotes will be $5, my posts will earn $100, and my comments will bring in a few bucks each.
And my million will be worth enough to buy me a house!
For now, I'm focused on creating and curating content to the best of my abilities, so that I have every chance at reaching my goal. Thank you to everyone on Blurt that has helped me get this far!

I remember when our BP was in similar range - well mine was 10 times less but your calculations about weekly curations were adding up so it was informative for me and my BP xd
Maybe I could go for 100k push as well and have free calculations of BP weekly :)
I just checked - it was somewhere about 4 moths ago - numbers were 870k ish

Wow, it is very, very close to your goal. Your Hardwork really paid off. It was very far last time you started posting about your 1M goal and you are even hesitant to reach that goal but now, you are very much close to 1M. Congrats @drutter! Good job!
