Imagine?
- Markimark and other Hive downvote bullies push out hundreds of good content-creators for political/financial reasons. - Check!
- Many take their content and crypto holdings to Blurt. - Check!
- The crypto bear market ends.
- Hive doubles in a short timeframe. Because it has a smaller market cap, Blurt goes x10, like many altcoins in the 2017/8 bull market.
- The bullied content-creators grew by factor of five times more than the bullies.
- Some take their crypto holdings temporarily back to Hive.
- Markimark and other Hive downvote bullies taste their own medicine.
The first 2 steps have already happened, and #3 is inevitable. The others are all quite plausible. I'm just saying; the scenario is a very real possibility. Marki is already being mostly zeroed out... imagine if his victims suddenly also had large holdings?
So not only will courts of the future (using powerful machine intelligence) scour every click and keystroke and tap that occurred in relation to these blockchains, and punish those who harmed others, but we could be looking at a "community-based" justice situation in the shorter term.

My opinion, buying back hive from these internet tyrants at low cost while not voting their content and not selling but hodling will eventually cripple them down in stake power.
Eventually everyone has powerdown.
The difference though is that those who are not selling, the ones fighting back in this game of thrones parade, should hold from staking until "they" powerdown first. Keep enough powered up to make content, and transactions at the least. Make your own vote trail rather than following the curator organizations that mainly only try to curate for themselves like currie who has been curating scammers for a long time.
Maybe then, we, those who have been opressed through the financial market, will have more of a say.
The problem is, that hive is being run like a corporation ran by high end profiles. Their mindset is centralization. But they are being made a prime example by their own actions, that centralization on a platform that was meant to be decentralized is not going to work ever in long term.
Theae people are short term. Just like parasites are when we have them inside us by drinking tainted water. Eventually it will get shitted out or killed off with poisonous materials meant for the parasites.
Poisonous material for parasites is akin to truth and logic here.
Water is tainted because of lack of a good filtration system (cognitive critical thinking skills)
These are interesting times and we will all be there live, when it happens... 🙏😜
This is a likely scenario to me and always has been it is far far easier for a little coin like blurt go 10x than hive to 10 x, I personally believe hive x10 ing any time soon would be almost miraculous, for blurt quite likely.
I've been through a couple of crypto bull-bear cycles, and the darlings of one bull run rarely do well in the next one.
In 2017, Steem did very well as did coins like Litecoin. In 2021, neither of those two even hit their 2017 highs.
In the next bull market, neither Steem or Hive will feature, but Blurt might because it'll be shiny and new.
So don't waste your hard-earned money buying Hive to pursue revenge-fantasies. Just focus on growing your Blurt so you can catch the next bull run.
Good advice... that's been my mantra on Blurt - just focus on your content! Not other people's content, not your curation, YOUR CONTENT. Up the quality and/or frequency of your posts and comments, grow your momentum and holdings, leave negativity and distractions on the sidelines. This place suits such a strategy. No downvotes, and good mute function. Focus on your own shit. Go!
You and I are almost shockingly on the same page. I've been thinking of all these steps playing out for months now. And I do believe they will. The most interesting thing that could be done as you hint on is...... anyone rich enough and willing enough to do so; is start up a demon face profile, like @nobrainsleftuse to use. Network with all the creepers by showing off how into satanism you are to build up your reputation and trust. Then a couple months later just start going on a downvote tear across the platform in their name. Game set match. (they are already basically doing this anyway, but it could be put into high gear.) I personally would never do this, as it does not align with my moral and ethical beliefs, but it certainly would be like dropping a nuclear bomb on their entire platform. They really left themselves wide open for their weapon of control and abuse to be used against the entire platform to totally destroy their user base and drive off investment. There would be nothing like seeing these scumbag hive controllers down 98% on their holdings while everyone powers down and moves to Blurt.
Marky isn’t the only one tho I didn’t even encounter him there are at least ten of them.
