Blurt is more than 4 years old now, which means we can analyze its price over exactly one BTC halving cycle. How did it do, and what might be coming?
There's the BLURT price in USD over the past 48 months. For comparison, here's BTC over the same timeframe:
Things were pretty similar for the first couple years, but at the end of the crypto bear market on January 1st 2023, BTC began recovering, while BLURT actually headed toward a new all-time low. That's a bit concerning.
Here's a line-of-best-fit for the BLURT chart:
Not very flattering, but that's the reality of the situation. Hopefully we'll break that trend very soon.
The only real deviation from the steady downward collapse is the bull market jump in late 2021 and early 2022. Will we see a similar move in late 2025?
Considering the past 2 years have continued the bear market instead of joining Bitcoin and others on a bull run, and we're starting at about 0.003 instead of 0.006, we might not get to to the same high (about 4 cents) as last time.
The following image uses a summarized price line (dark red), showing a clear period of price decline at the exact same time the rest of the crypto market was declining:
Having been on Blurt almost 3 years now means I got on board (and did most of my buying) when the price was about 3 cents per token, ten times what it's at now. Seeing the price at half where it was exactly 4 years ago isn't a good sign. I do believe we'll see a price rise later in 2025, but will it even get us back to where we got last time? And what happens after that, another bear market to a new all-time low?
Let's hope things turn around soon.
If you can power up, and not power down, you're helping the price of BLURT. If you create good posts and comments, generate interest, promote Blurt, and/or manually curate original content, you're also helping boost BLURT. It all helps, and it all has positive knock-on effects.
We can turn this thing around, and with the help of the 2025 bull market, hopefully we can take BLURT and Blurt to new heights.

Very nice analysis buddy! I too hope we can break this downwards trend in 2025! 🙏
I expect a price increase later in the year but most of its value is driven by active Blurt users and not really from outside investors. If we all can relatively agree that the value of blurt is higher than it is then we'll be able to drive the price forward.
Good analysis!
Hope blurt will go up very soon!
Only that such analysis says nothing about blurt and may sow unnecessary fud.
to better analyze blurt we need to look at how this type of blockchain could be classified. So I think that the closest it can be compared to a joint-stock company that constantly issues more shares than it buys back. What does this mean in practice? When a joint-stock company issues new shares on the classic market, the value of the shares on the stock exchange drops because there are more shares in circulation. How should one assess the state of the company in such a situation? Well, the fact that the share price drops due to the issue does not mean that the company is in a bad situation. The company's situation may be good. Basically, if the company issues a lot of new shares and their price does not drop or remains at a constant level, it means that the company's situation is even very good. And I think that is also the case with blurt. Considering the number of users, large amounts of blurt are still generated at a low price and some still sell blurts for next to nothing, as shown by the new lowest maximum. However, the development of the platform itself is progressing. nalexadre is working on a better registration system, we have blurt media, frontends are also developing. Maybe it's a matter of time how the network will attract the attention of good investors and developers.
and in this way simply these cheaply sold blurts now by people who are here only for profit and pay everything at once, will simply end up in the hands of someone who will manage them more wisely.. that's how it works.
Uh oh, you got confused.
This post is about the price of BLURT, not about "how this type of blockchain could be classified", or nalexadre's efforts, or frontends, or blurtmedia. Maybe you could make a post about those other topics? You've already started on it here.
If price analysis makes you fearful,. I suggest you avoid the topic!
no. what I'm getting at is that price analyses are not worth much. There was already more than one coin whose price analysis would have been good but now it's gone or turned out to be a scam. Or others like Dogecoin which looked like a scam but are now in the top. Market analysis is good for short-term trading. For long-term holding like you do, fundamental analysis of the project is needed. And I suspect that's why you make your posts with charts from time to time because you wonder when your money will go up :P Well, I'll tell you. How instead of analyzing charts, investors will focus on promoting and expanding the project they invested in.
