Here's my comment to @agorise, the freedom-fighter who I have been promoting and praising since he switched to Blurt, on his post about an improvement he made to Blurt.Media:
He hasn't got any other feedback, so mine might be appreciated, but it appears I have been "MUTED"..? And I can't seem to get into his Matrix chatroom anymore. Maybe I accidentally said a banned word/phrase? Or maybe it's personal.
I don't know if my comment can be seen by anyone other than myself. Maybe it's different depending on what front end you're using? Currently on blurt.blog, as beblurt and latam don't work for me (but open to suggestions).
Anyway Agorise, thanks for what you do and keep up the good work.
Videographers, vloggers, podcasters etc... make sure you check out Blurt,Media if you haven't already!
DRutter
Hi drutter, not sure why "Muted" as we have never muted anyone, so it must be a front-end bug or something on blurt.blog. We LOVE your feedback and encourage more of it. Any time you ever have a question or comment we are happy to discuss too.
I left you a nice reply on your comment too, hopefully you can see it :)
As for the matrix chatroom, nobody on there has been banned or muted either, so I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe it is a proxy or firewall issue on your end? Like maybe at your webhost even? I'm not sure, but with a mute at blurt.blog and now at matrix too (which uses a totally separate protocol btw), this kind of indicates that there might be something up with your computer or internet itself.
You mentioned that beblurt and latam also do not work for you, so I really think the problem must be something to do with your computer itself or your internet connection.
Btw, here is the link to the Blurt chatroom on matrix if you would like to try again:

Thanks for your comment Agorise. I see from another comment here that the problem is I have been muted in the "Blurt Space" community (whatever that is). I see your post was in that community, so apparently I can't properly engage with your posts in there anymore. Apparently this involves the newcomer "fizz vai" account, someone clearly up to no good here on Blurt, trying to wiggle its way into the inner circle with promises of "promoting and supporting the Blurt community" blah blah blah. Farmers and scammers now in control of who gets to comment in certain parts of the platform? Not a good situation. At least I know what happened now.
Thanks again for the BlurtMedia improvements, those I've noticed and those I haven't.
No worries, thanx again :)
Maybe you can message the owners of the blurt space community and ask them to un-mute your username. It sounds like that would solve the problem. It was probably just an honest mistake.
The fizzvia account banned me for "spamming".... for calling out his spammy scams.
Why are random newbies who fake their way into the Blurt inner circle given the ability to mute others in the public square?
We should not support Blurt communities with our posts and money that ban people for personal grievances. I did not spam, I merely personally disagreed with the account now given a ban-hammer that shouldn't even exist. It's like going to prison for cutting a judge off on the highway. (A judge who isn't even legitimate, in this case.)
Aaah, so if he is the owner of blurt space, then it's sort of like you are given the right to paint your posts onto his wall, but i guess you kind of are in his house. I can create a community on blurt too (or out in the woods, whatever) and if someone comes to my community and harasses me, slaps me, or just annoys me to the point that i want him to leave my community, then i too would probably try to make him feel unwelcome so he will leave. Sorry, just playin devil's advocate here.
If he won't reverse the mute on you, then I would just avoid his community. Wish there was another way, but I don't see it. 🤷♂️
Well there's not really any option... I can avoid his community (and all posts in it) or I can make hidden comments. Hopefully creators will avoid posting in parts of the site that block people. Pay to be censored? No thanks.
I never post in communities. There's no upside that I'm aware of, and there are major downsides (you pay 3% or more of your reward, you can be silenced, etc)
Not sure why your muted in his comments, (probably just a mistake) but I was able to click on it to read your comment on his post 🖖
Hmmm... that reminds me of some unpleasant Hive memories...
This appears when you are muted from a community, in this case it is the "Blurt Space" community that muted you.
Thanks for the info. I haven't heard of "Blurt Space" community before. But I have seen that "fizzvai" account before, clearly a scammer and farmer... which makes it pretty scary that it seems to have the power to partially censor people on Blurt.
