Lunar New Year Story

in blurt •  3 years ago

In my sect we observe the Jewish New Year it is just a gathering, sort of a prayer meeting or worship service. But I am not familiar with the Jewish calendar months but new year happens usually at the month of march or April or in the month of "Nisan".

As for the Chinese new year, some people celebrates it here in my country like the businessmen of Chinese background. They giveaway Moon cakes and the "Ang Pao" which are little red envelopes with cash in them to their loved ones and friends.

Well whatever this year of the Tiger or what kind of this year is I just hope that it will bring us peace and prosperity and with that, long-life. ;)

Thanks for sharing your experience and "Happy new New Year"!

That's all you need to know. You can figure the rest out if you want to. From what I can see, another 6 weeks or so and we can start another new New Year.

You too^^

May this New Year be filled with the greatest blessing.

I found a song you might like. The version is kind of hillbilly but reminds me of the old country churches.
