Las calles del Centro de Monterrey, México (ESP-ENG)

Siempre nos enfocamos en lo más bonito de la ciudad en los lugares turísticos porque es la primera impresión de todos aquí, pero en realidad eso es una pequeña parte de la ciudad y eso no es totalmente la realidad, la realidad de la ciudad son sus calles, sus casas, la calidad de vida que tiene la gente, los negocios que están a su alrededor, la forma en como las personas salen adelante cada día y todo lo que tienen que pasar para lograr sus objetivos, muchos emprendimientos, muchos negocios locales, eso es el centro y las calles, su gente.

We always focus on the most beautiful part of the city in the tourist places because it is the first impression of everyone here, but in reality that is a small part of the city and that is not totally the reality, the reality of the city is its streets, its houses, the quality of life that people have, the businesses that are around them, the way people get ahead every day and everything they have to go through to achieve their goals, many ventures, many local businesses, that is the downtown and the streets, its people.

Aquí vemos una parada de camiones, que estaba en el centro, muy bonita y también algo llamativa su publicidad. Las calles del centro de Monterrey, Nuevo León, México son prácticamente así, claro que hay algunos lugares más bonitos que otros, pero la realidad de las cosas es que la ciudad es así y sus casas bastante interesantes.

Here we see a truck stop, which was in the center, very nice and also somewhat striking advertising. The streets of downtown Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico are practically like this, of course there are some places more beautiful than others, but the reality of things is that the city is like this and its houses are quite interesting.

Y que les puedo decir de cuando se hace de noche y la vida en el centro es totalmente diferente, cambia la presepctiva de como vez las cosas, debes tener más cuidado por dónde vas caminando, no es como que te vayan a robar, pero debes tener precaución. Hay lugares en el centro que están descuidados y que son mercados masivos para comprar ropa, existen decenas de restaurantes, hoteles, antros, todo lo que se hace en una ciudad de manera nocturna. Me pareció muy interesante la perspectiva de lo moderno el rascacielos y la vida real, los mercados rodantes, la gente va ahí porque sale más barato comprar sus cosas.

And what can I tell you about when it gets dark and life in the center is totally different, it changes the presepctive of how you see things, you have to be more careful where you walk, it is not like you are going to be robbed, but you must be cautious. There are places downtown that are neglected and are massive markets to buy clothes, there are dozens of restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, everything that is done in a city at night. I found very interesting the perspective of the modern, the skyscrapers and the real life, the rolling markets, people go there because it is cheaper to buy their things.
