The new mute button in Blurt is awesome !

You can't imagine how thankful I am for the magic mute button we have now in blurt !

Let me tell you my experience about that here in blurt. A big headache you can say. I will not mention those people who wasted my time for nothing. And I'm sure they can read this post, but I will be sure that none of my audience or me will see their comments under my post. So, I will be more confident writing no matter what I want without being afraid to be abused in form of someone wasting my time for nothing.

Because there are people that just like to argue. And they make others involved in their polemic. Maybe they are addicted to the dispute. Or to make themselves satisfied of proving right they do that. Because usually such people will never accept being wrong. They think they are always right about everything. And that's not nice because we are people, and all people make mistakes and that's what make us human. We are imperfect, and we could be never perfect !

That's why I prefer to mute such people, so in blurt none of my followers or me will see them commenting.

After all, we want to own our content, and find like-minded people.

We are not here to fight each other, but to find a common ground.

Those who keep fighting don't seem to be looking for peace !

I'm thankful to @megadrive and the team who made Blurt such a great place to be in !

Why mute people? as you admit we are human and can all make mistakes and that means you could be wrong and they could be right. Everyone should be free to comment.

I just hate spamming. And when someone is writing the same thing again and again, why I need to see that ? I better save my psychological health. For example : ''Russia is bad'', in many forms. All the time. Anytime when I write something related to Russia even if that's not about politics. Why I need to hear the same thing again and again. That's a psychological abuse. Do you know how they punish some people in jails ? For some of them they put the same music that plays again and again, and they start begging to stop it. For some just drops of water to make them hate that sound. That's a psychological torture. Telling me or people I invite from Russia all the time that their country is bad, even if it was the case, it's horrible. I don't know about you, but for me, it's an abuse that I prefer to mute. And all those who will be invited by me here, in case they will get the same abuse, I will advise them to mute. I see no harm in that. It's my blog after all. It's like owning a website where you moderate comments. More power to the creators I would say.

Cool, that's great feature if it's really working, someone can keep distance from another someone they avoided without argument.

Yeah, why we need to argue with those who don't worth spending time on them. ☺

I also believe it is a good tool. We needed something to protect us from spam

For sure. And there are so many things that could be considered as spam. Glad we don't have to see that anymore. :)
