blacklisting could be from both parts trust me. Those who support freedom of abuse are a lot as well. So, they are not saint as well. And they can blacklist someone and stop rewarding him in case he/she stands against freedom of abuse. I personally stand against freedom of abuse and I don't think freedom of speech should be that absolute, that's why I checked in FAQ or our wallet in blurt, and it's written there :
What is considered spam or abuse ?
One of that was :
- ''Threatening users with any type of physical violence.''.
That's in the FAQ, you can see it yourself : https://blurtwallet.com/faq.html#What_is_considered_spam_or_abuse
Also in case you didn't see this : The difference between blurt blockchain and frontends !, please take a look.
I'm here for freedom of expression you can say, but still I control that expression to not offend anyone directly.
how do you know if you will offend me before you write the actual words ?
You can't....It doesn't work like that.
for example " @frot is a tranny loving twat "
is that abuse?
let see shall we ?...calling @frot !!! (you tranny loving twat)
you can't know until after the vent....
I am hurt, that is offensive!
so.... @clixmoney- is that now classed as abuse ? - he said that he was offended....and hurt..
Soft ball questions then the meat and potatoes questions and they are both just yes or no. not 20 words. But one word.
Instead it turned into a kangaroo discussion. I am reminded of court now.
an example of kangaroo fever:
.......this last week or so has highlighted many, many things....
I invite you to talk to me in a video, or at least by voice. There we will see who is hurt and who it not. ☺
...the medium is the written word on a blog.
You are not answering my question- or you're avoiding it because you know the answer it ...
......this then leads to an ego tussle - logic and reality over the desire to be correct - when you know you're not (philosophically or intellectually....)
My position has no emotion - just philosophy and logic.
(tip: kill the ego).
It's quite simple. .....as is the principle of free speech - complexity makes it fragile, not robust.
.....what is this obsession with people wanting on there radio shows? lolol..
I don't understand what you're talking about. Still see you hiding behind an account. Let me know if you want to go live about that and show your face or at least your voice. I'm inviting you to a debate ! Don't refuse it publicly. That's not powerful. ☺
if you don't understand what I'm talking about - do you really think you're the right person to be having a debate about free speech, and the philosophical /ethical/intellectual implications ?
Seriously ?
I'm not hiding anywhere- I'm right here.
what?..lol.... I have interest in any 'power', just truth.
Why won't you answer my question ?
I gave you a real world example to prove my point - and now you're the one avoiding the very issue that you brought up.
Do you see how silly this makes you look ?
.....If you're gonna raise questions and posit points for discussion - then avoid entering into the very debate you created by avoid very simple questions - backed up by evidence of using the @frot comments .....see what i mean ? ( is this classed as abuse? - the word 'silly?'lol )
tip;kill the ego.
A lot of talk I will not read. You're welcome to contact me in telegram or discord, as you wish : https://t.me/clixmoneyy , discord : clixmoney#0084.
So is blurt live better than blurt blog? Ive had a gutsfull of trumped up little numpties trying to decide what content is acceptable...
You still didn't get the point, maybe. I mean that an application can work the way the owner wants it to work. And anyone else can create his/her own application. So, you can create your own application where only memes will be allowed and all of them will be shown.
Blurt.blog and blurt.live was only an example, I think they work the same.
I meant in the future we may see more applications. So, the blockchain is what's fully decentralized from my understanding. The application can set the rules it wants. For example an application that allows only pictures to be shared, or only videos to be shared, or only certain types of content. Look at weedcash I guess, they don't allow anything not related to weed to be posted there. Are they suppressing freedom of speech this way ? No, they just want to see that niсhe there. And I guess @drutter is a member of that community. He can tell us more about it.
