Today I onboarded @foryoubtc to blurt, you can support his post here : Every beginning is a new hope; blurt start is also my hope!.

This is my first time onboarding someone to blurt, so please let me in the comments, what's better to write to people when they join blurt. I know a lot of information, and I'm afraid that I will not give it the right way. The most important that I like it here that's why I'm investing in blurt power all the time. The community is friendly and supportive and that's the most essential for me.

But anyway, I would write what in my opinion someone has to do when joining blurt in my opinion. Since we have to pay fees here while posting, commenting, following and even unfollowing and editing our posts, I would advise those who join to buy at least some blurt if they can afford it. I'm sure that will be easy to recover what they bought in only a week or a two. It's possible to do that even from one post. So, there is nothing to lose if someone wants to have a good future in blurt. Let's suppose 100 blurt for only about $3 can be good to start with. The half should go right away to power up, to understand how upvoting is working here. And the other half should be to post and comment. In this situation you don't have to hurry to earn that in a few days, but give it some time. Because you will have always to leave some blurt on your balance and to power up a bit to show your interest in investing in the platform. Even if you are not that interested to power up, try to find some #contest to win some delegation, so you may win some, but in this case you will have always to find someone to delegate to you. Delegating, means giving you some blurt power for a certain period of time. That's possible to get especially if you bring some value to the platform and to explain to those who like to delegate, what you are ready to do for it. Because most of us are investors, and we will be happy to see newcomers brining value to the platform.

The second thing I would advise newcomers, is to care about formatting your posts and even some of your comments sometimes. So, learn something about html, or how to post in blurt :

For example, I will mention the most common things I use to post here :

  • To write something in italic, all you have to do is to put the text between this **.
  • To write a big text, add before the text the following : #. The more of those you add the smaller the text is. # for the biggest format, ###### for the smallest.
  • To add points, just use this - before the text, like the points I'm mentioning now.
  • To add a fast line, just write dash three times at least, something like this ----.
  • To add a clickable text, just write the title between this [ and this ] and the link between this ( and this ). .
  • As well it's better write a post always with a thumbnail, so it will have more chance to be noticed.

Those are the main tricks I use while posting. I hope that will be useful to someone.

Of course just like in any platform, the activity is important, so building connections maybe one of the most important aspects to grow in any social media.

I hope our activity here will bring many benefits to all of us. It's always great to be active in a crypto community !

You can write any tips in the comments about how to grow and improve in blurt. Maybe I missed something. I would ask @offgridlife because he's the most passionate about blurt. Or anyone reading this and wanting to help.
