Collaborations in blurt [PROPOSAL]

I have many crazy ideas about how to make blurt a great place.

But in this post I would like to talk about one of them.

I like to create collaborations, and I'm the founder of @dcooperation community. And I think collaborations are the best way for improvement.

So, let's say I would like blurt to be promoted by someone with a lot of following in social media. And even if I'll just contact the vlogger or the blogger, they will not collaborate with me or with our community, because usually their promotion cost money. But what if we will have a fund that will always pay those who will collaborate with us. We could pay them in blurt. So, anyone from blurt can find us such a deal, and we will contact the promoter and pay them with blurt.

For example, we can pay those who'll have such a deal with someone famous. We'll discuss with them the price and from time to time anyone from blurt can create a collaboration with such person. It could be a crypto influencer, a journalist, a sportsman, a musician, or an actor, or anyone who can promote blurt to his/her big audience.

For that, we can pay those who'll make a deal with those influencers, we even can pay those who will collaborate with them. And of course the most money will go to the influencer.

So, how much I think we need for that ?

Let's suppose the influencer need $1000 to accept such a deal. And let's say we'll find an influencer each month. So, we will need about 166k blurt a month. Or about 5500 blurt a day. In case we'll not gather that money, so we will give this more time. So, one influencer in two months will be good as well.

We can also pay those who bring us the influencer here, for example 10%. So by having $1000, we'll give $900 to the influencer and $100 to the person who made the deal with him/her.

Anyhow, I'm just working on the idea and thinking about it.

Let's discuss in the comments how we can improve this ?

Collaboration is key , it's networking and when we're able to attract celebrities to blurt it gives blurt a great aid on a wider space of audience not necessarily only on the Blurtblog. This is the type of idea we need at the moment to help promote blurt massively.

That's for sure.

Hi, thanks for your proposal. It is important to note that the proposal system puts out around 320K Blurt per month so 166k Blurt per month is half of the proposal system, also I think if you find a suitable influencer then we can more easily fund such a proposal, this current proposal doesn't put forward any influencers that have shown interest. This is also something that can be facilitated with Blurt Core when you do find someone we can help.

Glad you're ready to help. Maybe some announcements should be made in the future by the team. Because I didn't mean in this post, that only me who will look for influencers, but also all the community. So anyone can find someone and get paid for it. I thought of paying 10% to those who will find an influencer.

And if the issue is in the amount, I can change it. But that will bring us less money, so maybe we can count on 1 influencer in two months. Still don't know. I wished this discussed by more members of the community. Maybe if the proposal is already there, so some people will notice this from time to time. I see that this needs some improvement.

It’s probably best that we don’t set a precedent for proposals with open ended results. Proposal’s like that of @eastmael or @symbionts are what we should aim for, that being ones that already have deliverables and now just seek back pay for their efforts.

I have the highest of respect for you but the funds would be going to a personal account with a single key holder with no clear date of finding and paying an influencer, something could happen to you and the funds would be lost. It’s best to start thinking of scenarios like this in order to keep the proposal system well oiled and effective.

I can change that to my account if that needed. But @blurtfund is also my account. And I thought for securing the fund, I can power up everything, till we will need the funds, and we will use them. But I will not upvote content from that account, or not vote for witnesses and proposals. That's why I thought sending funds to another account will be better to not have conflicts of interests.

with no clear date of finding and paying an influencer

But I didn't understand what does that mean.

Ah it just means there hasn’t been any influencers found yet, so maybe we should find the influencer first, find out how much they cost and then submit a proposal.
