I'm a veteran cryptopunk - introduced to crypto in 2013 and active in the community since 2017. I joined my first blockchain social platform - #Steemit - in 2017. Over the last few years I've posted a lot of art, poetry, crypto and technology posts as well as just day to day life nonsense. After Steemit fell, due to crypto falling and the #tron buyout - pretty much all engagement evaporated. What was once active communities and threads and valuable interactions - pools of fun internet friends began to dissipate as people distanced themselves from the platform. As a still active member of the community, it's - disheartening. As an artist and crypto advocate, these platforms are sometimes all we have to play our part in the blockchain world (other than mooning into #altcoins and stacking #sats). I used to be in the crypto conference circuit - joining many panels and speaking engagements at mostly european crypto and blockchain conferences. But engagement is crucial. When it dries up everything dies. And I am looking again for that long lost momentum that Steemit once had. If you haven't heard of the #clubhouse app yet- there is a culture brewing there that is super exciting. What is the crypto equivalent to #Clubhouse and #Twitter? I thought #bitclout sounded promising. There MUST be some community here on #blurt, but I'm finding that I'm starting from zero again. So any other veterans out there, hmu. I am open to collaborations, shared platform elevations, and any and all types of talks when it comes to tech and blockchain.
