A brave Cheetah mother chased away a lion that weighs three times her weight after trying to eat her cubs in Kenya.
Dramatic images captured by Kisemei Saruni, 35-year-old of the Maasai Mara National Reserve showed the lion escaped before the cheetah flip and the hunter was chased away.
Saruni, who was photographed 130 metres away, said, 'While I was on a normal driving trip, a male lion came out of a bush near us while watching a leopard and her cubs.
'The lion was walking lightly around his land when he saw a cheetah and the cubs. The lion ran into the cubs and first uncle cheetah surrendered and ran away changed her mind and chased away the lion. '
