Please note that Hive-engine has activated SWAP.BLURT for the Blurt community, this was reserved for us from the start but never implemented.
Blurt volumes have increased to the point this has now become feasible and it has the benefit of being managed by the Hive-Engine team, reducing single-point of failure risk and it will also mean Blurt will get official deposit and withdrawal routes on the Hive-Engine and TribalDEX interfaces.
Please note that only Tribaldex.com has been updated to add the deposit/withdrawal options. Hive-Engine will soon follow.
For the time being the Blurtlink Blurt token has been hidden at UI level so as not to cause confusion. It will be displayed again soon after the community has taken the time to read this.
We hereby request that users withdrawal their Blurt via Blurtlink and start using the official SWAP.BLURT Hive-Engine market.

BLURT has not been taken down or closed down or in any way vanished - it has just been removed from the Token list. I have no idea why users cannot still see it in their own wallet (I can) - maybe look further down your wallet (maybe the number of tokens has been zeroed, which would be worrying, but they haven't really!) or go to the BLURT market directly:

Secondly, if you go to tribaldex it just gives you instructions about how to swap from liquid BLURT to SWAP.BLURT. It is actually very similar to blurtlink - just read it.
Giving a full upvote as this needs to be the top comment. It's my experience that when things are made confusing that further explanation as this is needed for many of us who are easily confused.
Thank you for emphasizing what for many might create a panic by misunderstanding and thinking there is a glitch when they don't see it listed. The link to go there directly will be immensely helpful for many I have no doubt.
Overall, I think this is great news. I had always wondered why we had to go through a third party to send our Blurt when I was looking into converting my Hive to Blurt. It was actually the deciding factor that pushed me into using Ionomy, as at that time I knew nothing about the person running the third party transfer monopoly they demanded one use.
With so many that are recently coming to Blurt to see if they can escape from censureship (or censorship which is what happens when ones rep is lowered to much there), this hopefully can help the process. Hopefully they will not always hide Blurt on the Token list. Maybe one of our members can create a tutorial with pictures for those like myself who can be really slow on the uptake, like I did with Ionomy. I have no more Hive to transfer so thinking it would be easier for someone still converting, which will no doubt also be a highly rewarded and useful post for that person to make here.

One thing missing from the HE platform is the ability to freeze a market. I asked about this many moons ago when steem-engine started. It is in rare yet important occasions that a token market may need to be frozen, in the sense of halting trades. Instead, it gets "hidden" - oh well...
Even dead tokens appear to be alive - those really should be hidden... forever.

Anybody wishing to use Hive-Engine / Tribaldex (same thing, different paint job) who has joined Blurt without having a Steem/Hive account, must also create a Hive account. This is no different to creating an account on any other exchange.
My crystal ball tells me we're gonna see many "How do I create a Hive account?" questions.
I had over 5400 in there and can not see it.

Great news. This would really make it so much easier to trade in the Hive engine platform and increase the value of Blurt in the long run. I've always wondered when Blurt would be added to the official Hive-Engine deposit and withdrawal route. Kudos to us all at Blurt.

I was almost in shock when I opened the hive-engine I didn't find any blurt there. After reading this post I am more relieved. this will be more interesting to blurt because the transaction can be managed directly by the hive-engine. Earlier I also saw swap.blurt there in not many trades so I was confused and immediately asked this to @megadrive. thanks to @blurtlink and @yehey who have helped the blurt community in the previous transaction.
